I used to say Dave Lombardo was one of the best drummers, well he has been kicked off his pedestal. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z1X6iccZ5Rg[/ame] Hookem while they are young. This is how you raise a child. Bet he has the self esteem far better then you or me. (but not as much as his little sister or bother screaming the lyrics in the back.)
He's good....no doubt about it..... .....I'm just glad he doesn't live next door to me! -whatever -Lou
Welcome Lou, Glad you could make it over here, and look forward to many more of your posts. Cheers John
[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gpDV30hyM_A[/ame] All of this kids videos.....this is his warmup....but he jams beat for beat to RUSH
Then there is this 4 yr old....whos already in a band....and playing like a demon [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jm-AY2FN9yI[/ame]

Ever watch the movie "Drumline?" Story was eh but the band battles were decent. Drummers of choice for me. Buddy Rich Gene Krupa Neil Peart - Rush
Good show Issac. Just so you guys know, the kid in post number one was copying this guy. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vQpIpy1xU74[/ame] I am sure Issac will come back with a Neal Pert vid (BTW NP is great too).
Isaac, are you a drummer? This post in particular made me wonder. I marched quads with Crossmen way back in 1983. God, that makes me feel old!
Dave Lombardo is one of my top 5 favorite drummers. What I like about Dave is his restrainted simplicity. He doesn't go for the ungodly long drum fills, he knows that the drummer is to provide the beat. He does it well and fast.
I use to be and always will be a band geek. I played Trumpet in my High School marching band and love to watch DEI. Playing a musical instrument gave me an appreciation for the finer things in life.
