coronation set.

hello Gents.gillette has offerered coronation sets for the last 2 brit monarchs. do you think they will repeat history? just curious..

 

How many years ago was that??

 

1937 and 1952,

 

It would be nice, but I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for it. Besides, they would probably just make a fancy cartridge razor.

I wonder who holds all the Gillette patents from back in the day? To the few of us, this would be gold. For example, an English 3 piece New in Rhodium would be nice. Heck, I'd settle for a English Super Speed in Rhodium as well.

 

p&g most likely.gillette doesn't have any razor making equipment any more as far as i know.i think india still makes the sterling 3 piece which has the basic late 60s tech head.the closest old school gillette part i've seen reproduced was the new bar handle in the recent heritage set.they didn't use their Indian tech head on this razor either..
