Select Crabtree and Evelyn stores are closing due to the companies financial situation. The upside is, they are liquidating all items in these stores. My wife and I have been back to one of the stores that will close a couple of times. Only certain stores will close, most stay open (the independently owned ones). My store was pretty much emptied out of all shave soaps and creams, already three weeks ago - they had to sent their merchandise to other stores and their outlet. On our first outing, nearly everything was 30-50% off, on our last this past Wednesday everything was 70% off. The Super Badger Brush they had was gone...:mad: but they had a travel brush, not bad for some $11 with tax, and I got a whole set with BBB and a Mach 3 razor with stand for some $45. Plus the wife got some robes, and some of their display items. I picked up a three pack of each Sienna and Nomad bath soap for $6 each - not bad. Too bad they were out of the Sandalwood, except one bar - but that was ringing up with $7, the normal price and the sales girl could not get it to go down the 70%, so we all had a good laughter about this. If you want to get something, I'd say hurry to the stores, they are closing latest next week Friday, or even earlier when they are out of merchandise.
No. But, if you go to the website and use the store locator, you could just call the stores in your area and ask them if they are doing the 70% off sale. (I figure that's a nicer way to ask if they are closing the store on the person on the other end of the phone will soon be out a job.)
My girlfriend has been checking in at C and E for me for the past week. This store is located at one of the major malls in Atl. At the beginning of the week she said they didnt have anything but went back today they had a few products in stock. 1 SC sienna $7 1 AS balm nomad $5 1 badger brush $10 i do not know what kind of brush it is since I havent seen the products yet. it might be a good idea to check back at your local store to see if anything was restocked before this deal is over. Im excited to try the creams, I have no idea if they are any good though.
The store I use to go to had its last day this past Friday, so all the stores to be closed might have had that day as their last. It was last week by Tuesday already totally emptied out. They had to send all their shave creams and soaps to other stores that will not close.
