I have got my wife to like using the SS but she does not like to create the lather. I have been creating the lather for her. My question has any of the women tried Cremo Cream?
SS? Shave soap, super speed, silver slinky? Cremo Cream is okay. Kinda a weird texture, in my opinion. Now, if SS means shave soap; a shave cream may be more to your wife's liking. However, there are several other locally available shave creams I prefer over Cremo; The Real Shaving Company (the scent isn't to everyone's liking, and would be considered by most a more masculine type scent. I like the scent, and know scent has no gender.) HeadBlade Headslick (this is mentholated, and will lather though it isn't advertised as a lathering shave cream.) Kiss My Face (many folks like this product, and it is available in several scents. While it doesn't excite me at all, I like it better than Cremo.) C.O. Bigelow (rebranded Proraso, sold at Bath and Body Works. The Eucalyptus scent isn't much to my liking, but the shave is good.)
Cremo was the first thing I tried....I felt like it took a LOT of product to get a just kinda so-so lather. This is all new to me, I a lathering novice. I'm loving the TOBS Avocado--just one good swirl in the bowl with my brush and it builds lather pretty much immediately and effortlessly on my skin. It's gorgeous lather, too.
I used the TOBS Avocado. It's the only TOBS product I've tried, but I have read that it's a bit more moisturizing than the other TOBS formulas. That's usually good for ladies' legs.
My wife tried 2, passes last night. No nicks or irritation. She said she had to best shave and smoothest legs ever. And 24 hours still smooth
