Was at my local Walmart and as most of you know they started caring Cremo Cream "blushless". I had read review's here and there about it not lathering, but just had to find out myself about how it lathered. So i went ahead and bought some with the instant 75 cents off coupon taped to the side of it. Here was the results of the lathering if no one has seen a picture of it after being lathered. This was just a test lather so i didn't shave with it to see how it performed on the face but i might give it a go sometime! It was just a little over $3 with the coupon so if it doesn't work out i haven't lost much.
How much did you use, to get that lather? I am applying with my hands and it gives a great shave. Using my homade preshave, I just wet my hands from my shave bowl, and it's very slick. I just use the size of an almond, and rub it on my face. I'd like to try it with a brush. thank you in advance.
Sorry for the side ways photo lady's and gents, I was pretty sure it wasn't like this when I uploaded it! :/
I've purchased three tubes so far. One for me, one for the wife, and one for a guy I work with. The ladies version (same product but almond scented) I had to order online but the other two I picked up at Walgreens for $8 each and both had mail-in rebates for the total purchase price. I got a check in about 6 weeks. I've found it to be an excellent product and bought one for the wife so she'd quit using mine. It's quite concentrated so you'll need to experiment a bit to get the water ratio just right for lathering. It's also a big tube so when I get to the end of a sample of something else and don't have quite enough for a shave I add a squirt of Cremo to finish up my sampler.
You are right about the ratio of water, In my picture I think I got mine a little to wet which make it a little on the foamy side but still was decently thick lather.
