Um, who uses this stuff ! I mean the $165 Czech and Speake soap .If you do, I am about to save you money, get you a fantastic shave ( if you so dare), and why not, it's inexpensive, multi-purpose, some of us are brave enough to use straight razors. It's lemony scent, lubricity and glide . And water is optional. Save your brush for the $165 buck soap. ! shopping.jpg

Same person who would drop $2k on a custom razor.
$165 a soap puck is about 8% of the investment in the razor.
So, accordingly, a person who uses a $40 DE razor would spend a little over $3 a soap puck.
See…we can justify ANY shaving expense if we set our minds to it! :D

    Sage Blades customs…$2k

I can say you don't need more than one razor, soap, strop, brush, bowl, scuttle but most of us have them.

While I understand why people would want a top shelf soap, some of these big names like Creed, have far exceeded overcharging. IMO there are way too many great soaps for a decent price to justify $165 for 1 soap.

Gojo is some slick stuff.... I wonder how well it would work as a shaving cream......

Yeah, I was crazy enough to try it. Excellent. I can say that it performed better than a $40 cream. Lemon helped, but it still smells like gojo. A one pass shave, no, nicks, irritation, Just wash with a nice soap after, and you will be smooth. Only need a little. Overall very impressed. I can't say that it will be my go to cream, but it is better than a lot of stuff out there.

Lol it goes to show that you never know what will work unless you try it. I can believe Gojo would be slick enough, but the pumice would be a concern. Glad to hear it worked well for you Mike :)

It's comes in the non pumice version. I think the orange is only pumice. Pumice will not be cool for shaving, but a cheaper alternative to that p Proactive acne wash.

Yea I didn't even think of that, it would make a excellent face scrub. A lot of people use the St. Ives Apercot scrub and proactive. Gojo, good for everything from black hands to blackheads!
