1. Howdy all,

So the other day my mom was going through a few drawers in the basement to get rid of some junk.

As we were cleaning I found a bag with my dads old safety razors and a old brush. He even had a bar of old olive based soap that he used to use.

When I asked him how old they were he said he brought them with him to Canada when he came in the 70's

I don't know what kind of razors they are but one has a date code at the bottom of T4 and the other is S1.

I can't post any pics since I'm at work but I do hav pics on my phone I can email them out to someone so they can post them if they wish.
  2. Here are the photos of Basil's Dad's razors. Looks like a couple of Tech's. It is very cool to be able to keep them in the family!

Thanks for sharing with us Bro!

  3. Thanks for the help Jeff.

So the date code on them would mean they are made in 73?
  4. The S-1 would be 1st quarter of 1972 and the T-4 would be 4th quarter of 1973.
  5. Way cool! Here's to many great shaves with them!!
  6. How did Bocephus put it?............. A Family tradition. Cool stuff!
