I picked up this early silver plated Rolls razor today, is there any way of dating it from the number on the handle? R22645 I think (badly struck)

That's a nice 1922 Standard model. Smaller than the Imperial models which started in 1929 and the Vicount model which are 1949 and later. Those razors are hard to find and the ones I have seen sell are in the high $$ range. That is a beautiful set and if I didn't have one already I would make you a serious offer for it in private chat.
