4 pack of Boylan Cane Sugar Cola. I really hate both Pepsi and Coca Cola, but I keep reading how awesome cane sugar is compared to the corn syrup used in most commercial colas as the sweetener. Chilling in the fridge now, will drink tomorrow night since I do want to get to sleep this evening.
If you ever get the chance.....try Dublin Dr. Pepper.....you can pick it up at www.dublindrpepper.com Its made with the original formula and CANE sugar. the only bad part is that well....shipping will kill yah.
I made some great Sweet Tea today....AKA Souther Style Tea 2 Quarts of water 8 bags of Lipton tea. (Luzianne is preferred for true Southern Style) 3/4 cup of simple syrup (equal parts sugar/boiling water) Boil the water....Put water in your favorite pitcher and add the 8 bags of tea. Let that stand for about 5-8 minutes. Take out the bags and add the simple syrup. Chill in the fridge......Place in a glass with Ice.... Sit on your favorite rocking chair and relax
Haven't tried that (yet). Hmmm...there's an IKEA in Atlanta. Milka from Germany isn't too bad, either!
Milka is the BOMB When i went to Germany....i was in Heaven. So many Milka flavors you cant pick up here in the states. I brought home about 20 lbs of chocolate...which were quickly eaten
Havta get Klaus or Stefan to hook us up with some Milka (or Tom H., though I haven' seen him on in a while.)
That was one tasty cola. Contained some lime juice, hints of cinnamon, and bourbon extracts. :drool Recommended!
I didn't have time to take a photo this morning, but I did a double shot of the Liquid Amber from Sweet Maria's that I roasted 2.5 days ago.....endless crema and a great smooth shot also made 2 americanos with the same coffee, excellent as well. Liquid Amber is worth trying if you have not yet.
If you ever come down to Texas be sure to get Dr. Pepper origianal recipe. It is made with sugar cane and it is the best. Raf
Dublin Dr. Pepper FTMFW!!!!!! That is the best stuff in the world. I once spent $120 dollars for 5 cases to be shipped to me in El Paso. Then when i lived in San Antonio, i had a roommate go to dubling and i picked up 20 cases of the stuff.......ITS SUPERB.
I don't know if it's dublin or not, but at myrtle beach they have it in long neck, with cane sugar. It certainnly does taste different. Almost has a bite to it... Good stuff.
