God I hate the sun and summer.

 

I’m sure summers in Finland, Iceland, or more realistically for me, northern France or Hokkaido are nice. I have to give it a thought.

 

Well, just remember that "up here" we now have sun 24 hours a day! Even though I don't live above the arctic circle, it never gets completely dark here.. so if you don't want sun in the summer, I guess Nordic countries are off the list (And I haven't even started telling you about the mosquitos )

 

Dammit! However I don’t hate the sun as a provider of light, I hate it as a provider of unbearable heat. Let’s talk Celsius, how is it up there right now? I must admit I’m surprised about the mosquitoes, I had no idea you were infested too.

PS: No, actually I hate the sun. I like grey skies and rain. I must think about Scotland or Ireland.

 

Right now it's clearly below 20, more like 15-17... I HATE anything above 25! 20-ish is perfect!

Up north there are huge problems with mosquitos in some places, people can't be outside if the wind isn't blowing...

I like rain too!

 

Aaaaah, paradise on Earth! 35 here, I’ll never understand those stupid vacationers who come here en masse just to burn on the beach. I forgot my haul of the day: a cheap fan.

 

We really are much alike..............been over 100 here most of the last week.
Scotland is on my short list of places to retire.
