Check back in our the Chateau Real. Ive been interested in them for awhile.
A lot of people bad mouth Drew Estate / Acid but Ive really liked the gars I've had.
Good stuff.

 

I've been a fan of Drew Estate (at least the Acid) for a long time. I've got a separate humidor for them, so they don't cross-infuse any of my other cigars.

The rep was saying that they 'infuse' the flavors- they're not just slapped on the tobacco.

I started smoking acid because they were about 60% cheaper than that other flavor-infused cigar, Lars Tetons (name?) Anyways, I've always been happy with them. Except for the t-shirt. it looks good, but it's paper-thin. The hat rocks.

I THINK the guy said the Chateau had a trace of pipe tobacco in it...

I smoked an Ambrosia at the event. It's wine-and-clove-infused. It was pretty good; VERY smooth.

 

Looks almost Gothic...

Oh.. a baccy called "Starbuzz" can never be legal, can it?

Have an oven full of taters roasting, will be served with prime cuts of venison and red wine sauce and some veg.

And the beer theme is Belgian, right now I'm enjoying a Westmalle double. Chimay Blue and White, Leffe Bruin, Duval, Trapistes Rochefort all lined up Oh, and some Sierra Nevadas.. yummy. It's extremely cold and snowing, but I might go out and try one of my cigars while running the bath.. run in and have a steaming bath and a great shave Sounds like a plan, doesn't it?

Everthing according to plan, so far.

The meal was outstanding!

I geared up and took my dogs out for a walk in the snowstorm, smoking my "Griffin's". Very nice cigar! I'm a total cigar noob so I don't know what to look for, but in "noob terms"; This cigar was not harsh at all. The taste was spicy, I can only describe it as "a hint of mint". Very hard rolled, making it a bit of a struggle to puff.

Came in, ran the bath and had a great bath, and discovered "GFT"... lovely!

A great "Good Friday", hope you all have the same!

 

Ground 2# of venison and 2# of lean beef to make jerky. Curing with [salts,] black pepper, jalapeño pepper and soy sauce. Gonna make strips and dehydrate tomorrow... looking forward to taste!

Met with an old friend of mine yesterday, back home visiting family for Easter.

Enjoyed a couple of shots of Johnny Walker Blue and a nice Camacho Diploma.

 

Wow! These turned out great! My best batch of Jerky so far!
