Recently, I won an auction for some razor parts which included what appears to be the core of a Gillette Criterion Gold De Luxe. The problem is that I have no cap or knob, so I'm wondering what my options are. On one hand, I'd love to find parts to complete it. Conversely, I'm wondering if it is possible to remove the collet from the baseplate and just use it as a regular New De Luxe (even if that is a sacrilege). Thoughts?
You can find gold versions of the new deluxe occasionally online so you should be able to get parts if you are patient and keep looking. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk
