DE Shaving time

    It's always been the hot shower route for me. Was just wondering.. there have been some times where I get to the later part of the shave and already the blade is dragging.. so I apply some more lather and that seems to do it.

    If your lather is on the borderline-dry point that morning (or evening, etc.. whenever you shave) then it's somewhat normal to expect one side of your face to start approaching "dry" by the time you get to it.

    When that happens, use that opportunity to dribble a "cuppa" drops of hot water back into your brush or lather bowl, and whip that water back into the lather... help bring it back to "wet" state. That's what I do.

    Oh, and for the topic in question, I average about 12 to 15 minutes total for a DE shave... started (like most people) at over 30 minutes. However, now that I'm still learning with a Feather ACD-N straight, those shaves tend to approach the 30 minute mark again.
