    Thanks Joe.
I'm not in the driving mood today.
But I feel better being well shaven.

The Rum proves I'm a cheap shave...
    ;)

Lol! Just don't use top tier Rums like Bacardi 151 for an aftershave.

OK, I decided what straight razor brand I am going to use for tomorrow's shave as well as my software. Can you guess the razor, soap and matching aftershave?
I will give you 3 clues:

    1. Post numbers 53, 62 and 72 have the necessary info to help solve the riddle.
    2. The setup is color coordinated and I am using one of the items pictured.
    3. I am using a different seasonal soap.

Based on my clues, I think it is pretty easy, but then it might not be.

I thought that I would have a little fun with you guys. Good luck.

The Shaving Adventures of Paul Turner might be a best seller. ;)

Paul, you have to read my clues carefully and fully read the 3 posts that I mentioned.
You have to guess the brand of the razor, the soap and the aftershave.
My clue #3 makes your response incorrect.

Well, 2 outta 3 ain't bad.... I'd probably miss on the razor brand. Oh, the soap guess is wrong. Make that 1 outta 3.

The aftershave is wrong also. The trick is to use the 3 clues and apply them to the 3 aforementioned posts. Look at the pic and read them post carefully.

    Greetings,

A new shave set up to start the weekend..

After a month of using the Parker 98r... For the rest of December i intend to use hardware & software that i have infrequently used over the last year....Starting with the Edwin Jagger DE 89...It's been a while since i last used the LPL Fougere soap which is a French 100% vegan soap to be honest this vegan soap is absolutely amazing, i only used a small amount but it produced enough lather for the full shave without going back to the sample tub to add more. The slickness is fantastic, as is the fragrance protection & the post shave feel...The razor & blade duo was absolutely fantastic....Super smooth and efficient...I wasn't sure if the Derby Usta would pair together with DE 89, How wrong i was. They paired together excellently...Wow!

A very enjoyable 2 pass + pick ups close comfortable shave with no errors to report....Finishing the shave off with a few small squirts of Milton Lloyd London 2000 EdT to the pulse points.

My face is feeling silky smooth & smelling divine.;)

Stay safe, and enjoy the start of the weekend ladies & gentlemen.

Don't you love it when you try a new blade/Razor combo and are surprised that it works well! Great show my friend! I only have one Fougere item and that is my Stirling Blood on Steel aftershave. Have a great afternoon, Barry!

I was happy to return to Central Texas Soaps. The fellers did me good. 0:40 to load the CTS soap onto the Stoylin razor. Nice work up along the cheeks&sideburns. Ditto both parts of North Porcupine Alley, as well as the jawline (bordering Porcupine with Cactus Nation). I did get a Knick on the "mustache" area of N.Porcupine, though. Harmless, but the thing showed up. I left a little too much astroturf just to the left of the ingrown hair area at Cactus. I'll fix that tomorrow. One thing I like about the CTS aftershave is that it tells you right on the bottle to shake it a few times. I mean, I suppose we all do that with ANY aftershave, but it's nice to see the reminder right there. Thanks to Greg Smith, the owner, for that. Weekend Rodeo gives you NBL(no that isn't a sports league-it's "Nuthin' But Leather"). Super Duper Excellent.

    DE Shave # 371 - DEcember Shave

    Rating: 5 / 5

    Razor: Fatip Grande Open Comb
    Blade: Gillette Silver Blue
Brush: MrEE Limited Edition #017 Cashmere 24 mm
Lather: Los Jabones de Joserra Gredos (1508.5 Project)
Aftershave: Los Jabones de Joserra Gredos
    Additional Care:
    Stirling Alum Block
    Thayer’s Witch Hazel - Original
    Stirling Unscented Glacial Balm

Happy Saturday gentlemen. I had a wonderful DEcember shave with the Gatip Grande. My face is super smooth and ready for the day. The usual three pass shave did the trick.

I am now ready for a day of errands which includes obtaining the annual Mumble Bush. SWMBO like to have it set up by the first weekend in December. I prefer to wait another week. As you can see I did not win my point. Deja vù!

I hope you all have a great day gentlemen.
