Disable email

    Hi,

    I've tried to disable all email settings in the forum, but I still get spammed when there are new replies... I must be missing a setting, but which one? (unchecked 'send email about replies', but that doesn't work)

    Did you open alert preferances and uncheck things there?

    Yep, you have to deselect thread by thread.

    Ehm, no, I want to be alerted, but only on the forum, not via email, so I unchecked 'alerts via email' and left all others as is. (as I want the alerts when I login)

    Moderator Supporting Vendor
    Try Preferences, not Alert Preferences. This will stop future email bombardment.

    This will fix your current email issue.

    Only option I see concerning email in preferences is 'Also alert wvia email' under 'auto watch new threads you create/reply to'. This option is unchecked. (watch is, email isn't)
