I don't know if anyone else here has tried this salve, but my experience with it has been excellent. I admit that I was skeptical when a friend gave me a half used tin a few years ago, but three applications later I was sold completely. It's not so much an everyday moisturizing type of thing, but more geared toward helping with chronic skin problems. I've even seen it used on severe athletes foot (to the point where the poor guy was having trouble walking) and it helped from the first day. If you have trouble with eczema or psoriasis, you may want to take a look at this stuff. http://www.chickweedhealingsalve.com/index.htm I think there are several places to get this salve, but I've dealt with the above vendor in the past and had very good service.
I have two places on my hands that dry out severely, swell and crack. It comes back about this time every year. I've been told it's eczema, but I've not been to a doctor, so I don't know that for sure. I do know that if I apply the chickweed salve every other day or so, these places nearly disappear, and they don't come back. I usually apply a fairly thick layer on the affected areas and wear a clean 100% white cotton glove over them during the day.
I have the same issue. I have been diagnosed as having eczema. Not fun, not fun at all . However I am not a Dr. I have found that for cracked hands O'keefes works great. 20 bux for 4 oz! It better work.
