Do you dilute your aftershaves with Witch Hazel?

Do you dilute some of your more powerful scented aftershaves with Witch Hazel to cut down on the scent and lasting power? Some AS like Clubman used full strength are quite strong...the entire neighbourhood can smell you walking down the street. And it lasts all day well into the evening. If you dilute, what ratio of AS/WH do you use?

I would say that I add scent to my witch hazel. I put about 2 or 3 teaspoons of WH in the palm of my hand, then add 3 or 4 drops of aftershave.
I get the nice feeling of splashing on the WH, and a bit of scent with it. The scent goes away sooner, which is good for me and the folks at work.

I am usually ok with my aftershaves. Stong is fine. I never dilute them with anything.

I use my aftershave undiluted, straight from the bottle. :)

Most of the aftershave I use come with witch hazel and other good skin foods built right in.

I like the scents of my aftershaves too much to dilute them.

If i use witch hazel, i spray it on from a small spray bottle I've repurposed for just that. I've always gotten the genetic wh, which doesn't smell very nice, i normally put 15/20 drops of tea tree oil in mine.
I haven't used it in a while. It was my exlir to remedy the times i shaved too close.
I'd then dab some scent over it.

This afternoon I put some WH in the palm of my hand, then added a couple of drops of Old Spice and splashed it on. And it was milder than full strength AS and it didn't last as long either. This will be perfect for my "scent free workplace". I might try adding a drop of glycerin to this little mix as well. I suppose I could get some small bottles and mix up some AS/WH blends...but using the palm of my hand seems to work as well.

Witch hazel would probably drive up the costs of most of my fine aftershaves (Aqua Velva, Pinaud, Brut, Skin Bracer, TSD Splash). ;)

I use them straight, except for the addition of menthol crystals in menthol type after shaves. May even try them in regular after shaves for a bit of variety.

I had someone try that scent free garbage at a place I worked. I did not shower a few days. They were happy to change it to light scent. If they don't like my scents they can move their desk outside. PC garbage. And their "allergy" is not my problem either.

I agree. The PC stuff is getting a little absurd.

Yeah, that’s right! If they’re offended by my odor, too bad fellas! Smell it and weep is what I’ll say!
