*DONE* The 5K posts PIF

Hi All,

I just reached 5,000 posts here at TSD and I want to give back. Someone asked me recently what my favorite post is and it's my "Everything you always wanted to know about shampoo bars" thread. So, to acknowledge both things, this PIF involves ..... well, you'll have to read further.

Due to shipping costs, I have to make this open to CONUS mailing addresses only. But, otherwise, no restrictions... open to newbies and, ahem, experienced members equally.

Timing: this PIF remains open to entrants at least until 5pm ET next Friday and will close anytime after that. Also note that due to work obligations (and US Post), I may not be able to get everything to you in time for Christmas. But, I will try my best by having things shipped directly from the manufacturer.

How to enter: post a penguin or linux themed cartoon, joke, lol-penguin, or just plain pic in this thread (no repeats please). Once the entry period closes, I will pick a winner at random. edit: one entry per-person please.

OK, the best part... what ya get: You get to browse the Chagrin Valley Soap & Salve website and pick out 3 small sized, OR one large sized shampoo bar(s) for yourself. PM me what you want and I'll place an order for you with Chagrin Valley. I will also send you order confirmation and tracking info if provided. I don't get it. You'll have to explain this one as I'm not a computer guy.

 

The linux / UNIX command "sudo" temporarily gives allowed regular users "super-user / god" powers on a linux system. So, for ex, a regular user cannot delete anything outside his own directory. If he could sudo, he could delete any file in any location.
