Dr. Squatch Pine Tar Soap: Good for Shaving?

    Technically, yes, it CAN be used for shaving. Would I recommend it? Watch and find out, ha ha!

    Nice video! A lot of things will work in a pinch, even if they aren’t your preferred product.

    Several years ago I was stuck in a snow and ice storm and unable to make it home. Luckily I made it to a hotel, where I had to spend a couple of nights waiting for roads to open around my home. With nothing to do but sit around, I bought a cheap razor from the hotel store, and decided to shave. The hair conditioner provided was fairly thick and seemed slick, so I smeared a handful over my face and proceeded carefully. Like your pine tar soap, it did the job fairly well, but I would definitely prefer a product designed for shaving.

    I like to try things to see if they work, so today's experiment was along those lines. I thought of Glenn Helley today, from whom I've not seen any new videos in well over a year now, so this was a tribute to his episode that inspired the shave.
