Invented by me during a moment of making due with whatcha got, and it turned out pretty amazing. I was staying in a beach house on Peconic Avenue out on Shelter Island, off the tip of Long Island, one hot and steamy summer a decade ago. Boy did this hit the spot.

One part bourbon. Jim Beam was the original, but pretty much any bourbon'll do.
One part lemonade or simply fresh squeezed lemon juice.
    One part cranberry juice.
Garnish: doesn't need one, but mint's nice.
Takes a splash of soda well. Over ice: crushed, cubed, either way.
