Do you guys dry your face after shaving before you apply your balm? I find it easier to spread the balm evenly if there is still water on my face. Otherwise I use way too much to cover my whole face.
I pat my face dry, then a little WH,let it dry for a minute or two and then I apply AS balm. Works well for me !
I usually dab my face dry before applying any AS, ASB or WH. I find it helps the product soak in a little faster, plus the excess waster doesnt dilute the ingredients in the ASB.
usually i pat my face untill quite dry then put the after shave balm on as this is how the balm does its work on a dry face to get into the poar,s and sooth the razor burn and if you have the odd cut hear and thair thats how i put it on and im not mean with it after all it help keep,s the skin loking good.
I apply the ASL then I rinse the brush, dry the razor and clean the sink (which takes me about a minute). When I'm done I apply the ASB. Works well enough to me I never spent a thought on changing that routine
I usually rinse with cold water than pate dry then apply witch hazel and air dry while cleaning up a bit then as milk when face is dry from witch hazel.
That's about what I do, too. After the CWR, pat dry with towel, apply WH and let air dry before AS of choice. I can't say I'm completely 100% dry before applying the AS, but dry enough...
I do a warm water rinse, then a cold water splash, then apply ASL to my still-wet face. (Some people like that ASL burn. I don't, so applying to a wet face helps to dilute the effect.) The ASL gets to air-dry while I do some clean up, or go surf the net or something. After its completely dry, about 5 minutes, I apply ASB with wet hands, since a little bit of water helps to spread it around. Then I let the ASB air dry.
After shaving; cold water rinse, alum, cold water rinse, pat dry, Aqua Velva then get dressed n fix hair & then ASB.
