I have been active on this forum for about a year now, but had been lurking for a while before that. This is the only shave forum I am regularly active on, because it is just a great group of people. My journey into wet shaving started about four years ago, and was based on another hobby. I do leatherwork, making a variety of things. I was asked by a luthier to make a paddle strop for him, and found out that wet shavers were interested in these as well. I then started getting requests for barber strops. I purchased some vintage ones to get a feel for how they were made, and came up with a couple of unique designs for strops. I have strops (and other non-shave related things) available in my Etsy store: https://www.etsy.com/shop/DrygulchLeatherworks?section_id=10021693&ref=shopsection_leftnav_6 My website also has information on Strops here: www.drygulchleather.com/strops/ I am offering a 10% off discount from my Etsy Store for members of this forum, good through the end of August, 2015. Just use coupon code THESHAVEDEN at check out. Thanks for your time, Adam
Looks Great! I think you should also offer your razor covers as well. Like the one I got from your PIF. It's top notch. ETA obligatory pic
Thank you! I have a bunch of these cut out, but have not had time to finish them. I no longer offer things for sale until they are ready to ship. That way, if I get behind on production, no one has to wait for them. I will post an update here when I have these ready.
Awesome news! Best of luck in your endevours. Always heard if you are doing something you love you never work a day in your life! Congrats!
I will keep an eye out for these. I carry a DE in a plastic soap container back and forth to work but these pouches look nice.
