nice job sir. if the case is styrene then it and other styrene cases are restorable this way,styrene is very agreeable to sanding and polishing with many mediums. clear is the hardest to deal with and can be more brittle than colored items...

 

Yep, just like on plastic models. The clear parts are always more brittle.
