English flair tip

Ok guys I need your help. Trying to learn more about what I just picked up. I got a English made flair tip super speed. It has a II symbol on the bottom of it. I don't see a date code on it.

I haven't cleaned it up yet so I haven't seen if there are any more markings on it.

 

Also to add. It has a big gap between the tto knob and the handle.

From my reading I believe its a rocket.

 

Sounds like you picked up a Rocket as you said, the UK razors at that time didn't have a date code. My understanding is the flaretip Rockets were made from the mid 1950's up to 1960 time. Mr Razors site link below:

You will find the Rockets to be slightly more aggressive than the U.S. Super Speeds which makes finding one a very nice treet indeed! Enjoy!
