Just bought a small shave kit and need some insight. I cannot tell how old it is. It's a Gillette made in England with no date code. Looks like a tech 3 piece with aluminum handle. Came in a small leather pouch made by vantage also from england. Kit also has a small round two sided mirror and tweezers. Plus 2 Gillette blue blades. Looks like it was never used except the snap on the case is broken all contents are pristine. Any ideas on it's possible age?
That sounds like a nice kit. Hope to see pics soon. I cannot help you at all... I am sure someone will chime in. If you post a pic i know it will be more helpful.

i can try to post some pics but i only log into TSD via my Iphone so not sure if i can. We shall see. I thought the name Vantage on the leather pouch would be a good clue but i cannot find anything online in regards to them and gillette razors.Also on the head is printed gillette in a diamond with arrow going through it. i only paid $15.00 for it , shipping included so i know i probably got a deal. Will try for some pics later.
Sounds like a great deal. I think for me at least any shave worthy razor shipped to my house for about 12-15 bucks is a good deal. But you got a case and such as well so your a lucky man.
Similar kits stocked several different types and brands of razors, I'm assuming Vantage did the same. I could be wrong though. It is sounding like maybe a ball end tech. I Googled the pics; see if it shows up in them. Whether it is English or not is beyond me.
