A great, old-school cream with a lovely, traditional scent that gives marvellous lather, and super skincare. It shows that what was popular back in our fathers and grandfathers time is still in my honest opinion, the BEST!

Believe it or not....even though I live in the UK....I had never tried this until recently. The cream is coconut based, and is made for Erasmic in Jordan. This is a man on the street cream. No frills...just very, very effective. It has been available for many decades. I absolutely love the smell:signs047

I rate this one with the top end creams......but then ...I love the smell;)

I love the no-nonsense scent of Erasmic cream (not soapy like some other old brands -- it has a scent somewhat reminiscent of brylcreem with a bit of bay rum). It doesn't have the lubrication and moisturizing qualities of some of the high end creams, but definitely holds its own among mid priced brands like Proraso or Musgo.

Great scent, great performance, great cream. Oh, and the price is quite reasonable, too ::

yes, it's a lovely, lovely cream--very enjoyable and more reasonably priced than the so called "high end' English creams!

    Fantastic

I just took a browse through the reviews and stumbled upon the Erasmic Lather Shave Cream. Realized I don't use this cream nearly enough. This is easily one of my favorite creams....

    1- quick to lather
2- kind to the skin (is NOT loaded with chemicals like the "big T's")
    3- excellent scent

One knock against this stuff, is that for US shavers its hard/pricey to ship. But...well worth the trouble and expense :happy088

Many thanks to my man Jeff for recommending this miracle product to me.

    England's finest!

I gave the price a 7 because shipping and handling is steep and It is very hard to get.

    The Scent :drool :drool

And it is just as good if not better then the English Creams.

It's as English as you could get! (although, it's made in Jordan!)

Would I buy again? Does a bear s**t in the woods?

If I could give this one higher than a "10" for scent, I would. It's THAT good. Dunno what it is about the smell of this one, but I went nuts and scooped up 7 tubes of the stuffs, so that should tell you something. :rofl

The performance of the cream is outstanding, like others have mentioned. It's relatively cheap lately (more and more online vendors are starting to stock it) which means I should be set for life in my Erasmic love! :drool

Surprising performance and wonderful scent from what is essentially a cheap euro-tube. The scent has an amazing depth and character that you usually don't find in the "lower" brands. Truly a treasure of a cream that gives your shave experience a warm, masculine tone that lingers for hours afterwards..

    Awesome cream!

Just tried Erasmic for the first time last night before going to bed. I had the tube sitting in my shave den for some time, and had actually been putting it off in lieu of some of the more pricey brands. I finally decided to give it a go (hadn't read any of the reviews yet), and to say i was plaeasantly suprised is an understatement. WOW!

This cream has a very clean smell, and to me reminds me of the scent of the creams that the barber used on the back of my neck when I was a kid in the 60's.

As for the latherability... excellent, thick lather.

Protection/lubrication... excellent! It just made the blade glide effortlessly over my skin, yet my whiskers never stood a chance they were so hydrated.

My skin felt so moisturized after the shave, that I hardly felt that I needed any aftershave (but still couldn't resist some Trumpers Lime Skin Food... which, btw... didn't seem to clash with the Erasmic).

I will DEFINITELY keep this cream in my rotation. Hope they never discontinue it.

I received this stuff from my brother-in-law, who you all know! For those who don't, it's Jeff the crazy crackpot crackstar! :happy102 This cream is nice, but perhaps a little too perfumy.

A really nice cream cannot fault it in any way , i know we all go on about baber shop smells but this cream and pashana original brilliantine are the two i would say smells like a barbers shop, maybe not the high class places but your East end of london type

Lovely thick, lubricating lather. I even picked up a can of Erasmic foam once - same great smell, but performed no better than any other canned foam. And an Erasmic boar brush... fell apart after a month, so I glued the knot back in. Stick to the cream and the soap!

Bought this one due to the good reviews above.
It really performs well, on par with my TOBS creams to be honest. I gave 2,9£ for a tube which is a steal for such a great cream!
The scent is straight forward oldschool. You smell like you just came out of the local barbershop when finished. In my book, that is great!
The lather is very nice and easy to get a good amount of and do really protects and lubricates the skin.
To bad it just comes in a 75ml tube.
A great cream that gives you a classic barbershop scented, high quality shave that you can afford!

This is it. This is the one.
I don't think anything will beat this. The smell is so good I wish I didn't have to wash it off when I finish shaving.
And I can get it for 99p in my local town.
    The soap is also good.
    I don't care if I don't try anything else.

I must have gotten one of the last available tubes. Sadly, it seems this may no longer be available. If anyone knows a source, I'd love to hear about it!
