I absolutely cannot be without this wonderful shaving soap--it's a veritable treat which I strongly recommend, although it can be a bit hard to come by now.

I love this soap. It explodes into a rich lather; beyond what a soap should. It protects like nobody's business and doesn't leave my face dry at all. The life span of the lather is incredible, much better IMHO than most creams. But the most important feature of this wonderful soap is the smell. Nothing I've used has the old tyme barbershop smell like the Erasmic soap. It is off the scale.

I gave it a 7 in the price category becuase shipping from the UK is so expensive. I got mine from Weston's.

easily one of the best soaps I've ever tried - I love the classy, classic scent, the moisturizing properties, the skin-care - everything.
And, hey, this fella is CHEAP! :rofl

Gentlemen, I'm very happy that you enjoy the Erasmic soap. I recommend only stuff that I use and enjoy myself. ;)

Erasmic in a bowl is a fantastic shave soap. Lathers quickly and easily each and every time with an enjoyable scent. The beard-softening qualities and moisturizing effects of this soap are a real treat.

However, My feeling is that the Erasmic shave cream offers a better/more natural combination of ingredients, and at the same time they are two very different products.

While I enjoy the scent of Erasmic soap (which is actually similar to DR Harris Almond), I prefer the barbershop-ish smell of the cream.

The only real knock against this soap is thats its difficult to source for US shavers.

Very nice, I take the cream over the soap but still very nice.

    Overall great soap.
Only thing that took some getting used to, was the scent.
First time i have tried the classic barbershop scent as you guys call it,
and to me that was roses and honey.
    Less rose, more honey :D

Thanks Jeff for introdusing me to another soap :)

Good stuff and a great price!

This stuff IMO is really good stuff and well worth the small investment. Very good for sensitive skin and very nice scent. Smells similiar to Wars SC....nice classic scent that everyone loves. The container is the only thing I dont like. It cracks easy and hard to lather your brush in w/o getting the lather all over the place:( Other than that.....great performer!

This stuff is really good. Lathers very easily. It has a very nice smell.
I shall be purchasing this again. I think I may even prefer it to MWF which is also excellent.

Definitely One of My Favorite Soaps

It took awhile for the scent to grow on me but now I can't be without it. It's easy to whip up loads of thick lather. It doesn't dry my face out and I love the scent. I think Erasmic is about as old school as it gets. The only drawback is the plastic bowl it comes in.
