So I paid 10 bucks. Did I over pay for this little gem?

Not in my opinion. It seems like $10 is a great deal. I really like the handle.

Not real important, but I also don't want to throw money away. The brush is very lightly used. Very soft and I don't see them in the original boxes much or in person at a flea market or antique store ever in my case. I have seen a few on eBay and Etsy in boxes.

It's a value judgement. That's not a bad price to pay for "a brush". A vintage one it's original box doesn't happen often. It's not "NIB" from the slightly scratched base but that won't keep you from giving it a go. The knot looks to be in very good condition, but I'd consider giving it a hair conditioner treatment to help hydrate the possibly dried hair.

I'd give it a 4.5/5 on the Found in the Wild scale with possible higher rating if it doesn't shed too much. Nice one!

Thanks. I will do a search for the hair condition treatment. Never done one.

I think it's a good deal, especially with the original box.
