I look forward to reading it. I really like their cedarwood scent in their body wash. My son is almost to shaving age and since he stole my cedarwood body wash because he also loved the scent, I was thinking about getting this for him when he started shaving.
Scent: (smell from the tube was alright, slightly synthetic, however after the shave was completed the scent on the face smelled quite good) Lather: (wasn't the best at creating a good thick lather. Doesnt stand a chance compared to my proraso shaving cream (the tube version). I actually had to stop mid way through and load up some Col. Conk and that rescued it. On the second pass I applied the everyman jack straight to my face instead of bowl lathering and then lathered directly on my face. This turned out to be better. Overall its a decent product, for 10oz. paying only $8.00 you cant really go wrong. Some products just work better when taking the face lather approach. Once i did that, the lather was pretty good (still not proraso level) but gave me a clean smooth shave. Tonight was a trial run, I will be using it again tomorrow with no additional soaps and doing a face lather from the start and will have an updated review. Stay Tuned Cheers!
On a side note, I may have not used enough cream. After thinking about it, I'm so used and accustomed to proraso where i only need a dime amount. Tomorrow will be round 2 with this stuff and will give an updated review
I used more Every man Jack cream today, it was good, performed decent. Lather is not thick by any means however it does give a decent shave. Not deep in the pockets either, $8 for 10.0 oz. With the price taken into account I give the shaving cream a 5/10. Has a very light consistency. Will continue to use and if i experience a good method I will certainly keep everyone updated. (as of now I will not be purchasing this item again) Cheers!
