Hey everyone, so about a month or so ago I left a post on Everyman Jack shaving cream. (8.0 oz tub, cedar wood scent). The review I left wasn't to good however lately what I've been doing is loading my brush with col. Conk or Williams shaving soap then getting about an almond size amount of Everyman Jack shave cream and I've been getting some really good thick, creamy lather. I think in the beginning I wasn't using enough water to hydrate the lather. Adjusted review on Everyman Jack shave cream: 8.0/10.0. Good product.
Thanks for the update. Is that 8.0 rating only when used with a soap, or will the EMJ stand on it's own?
sorry for the delay was out of the country. The 8.0 holds strong when applied with soap. Without soap, its just a week cream. Not to bad, but need to use a lot more then average to whip up an average lather. When I combine it with van der hagen, or col. conk, or Williams it produces a slick lather. Happy holidays!
Had bought the after shave balm by mistake. Not that hot on it. Was one of the very very shave products that gave me a slight rash. Had to wash it off with Witch Hazel to stop the irritation.
i have the aftershave cream. The brown bottle. It works very good. The white bottle with a scent i hear is supposedly pretty bad. I will say the brown bottle i have of the moisturizing lotion is a great product. That's what made me give the shaving cream a try. But they certainly screwed up on the shave cream.
Mine was the aftershave. Not one that I'd select again. Still interested in trying the shave cream to see what that's like.
