Anyone else worried about the data grab from Experian? If so what have you done. I reactivated my Lifelock account because I thought I needed to do something.

Don't go to the website they supply to see if you were affected. It may or may not take you to the legit experian site. The company themselves tweeted a spoof site. Twice.

The best advice (in my opinion) is to just call all three agencies and have your account frozen.

It may be a bit of a hassle to re-activate, and maybe if you are about to be making a bunch of financial transaction soon it won't work for you, but if you are seriously worried, in theory it is a good move.

I guess. I am not an expert, and I have not slept at a Holiday Inn in years.

Luckily we have Lifelock as a benefit through work and they sent out a thing saying they were on it and everything was secure and to trust them and to make sure all our crap with them was accurate. I think we all expected that from Experian too though.

This is probably the new norm in the world. Best of luck to everyone.
