I'm running low on my current face wash (Grooming Lounge Mug Cleaner) and was wondering if I could get some suggestions on a new one to try. Thanks I can't wait to hear from you guys.

I've been using a facial soap from Tamarinda (rose clay and peppermint) and its great! Use it a couple of times a day. Got an Olive facial bar for my wife and that's all she uses now.:)

I'm 50 and I don't recall using one soap for my face and a different soap for the rest of me.
    Currently using Dove.

I'm not convinced it matters too much what I use, but I'm currently using the most is Nivea Moisturizing Face Wash because I was able to get a tube for $2.50 during a sale at Walgreens. I also bought some of their face scrub but found I don't like the grittiness getting into my whiskers. I'll also use my bar of Yardley Lavender soap from time to time. I also have a tube of Gillette Fusion ProSeries face wash for the sole reason that it too was on sale for cheap. I can't distinguish it from the Nivea.

I can't see myself ever spending much on face soap and after my 3 tubes of face wash are gone, I'll go to back to bar soap, but the good bar soap, not the cheap grocery store bar soap.

Kiehl's has excellent face washes depending on your skin (oily, sensitive, etc.). Head into one of their shops to try out the different ones or just pick up some samples.

Mikes Natural - not just shaving soaps! Mikes bath bar line is the highest quality soap I have ever encountered. Can't say enough good about it.

Have you ever tried the OCM? Oil cleansing method? There's quite a bit of web info about it. I am a big fan.

I use Cetaphil Daily Facial Cleanser. It's scent free and relatively inexpensive.

I like Eucerin Soothing Cleanser, Redness Relief. If you have problems with sensitive skin and facial redness, like I do, this works well.

Here is a description on Amazon, but I bought it in a local drugstore.

Just got some of Mike's Natural shaving soap and bath bar samples! Tried the "Peppermint/Rosemary shave sample and it is my favorite by a long shot. After I try the rest of the samples I'll order a couple of my favs. I also like the fact that you can order sample sizes so I'm not stuck with whole bars of something I might not like. This stuff is a must try. Can't wait for the M-bomb I have coming from TSD. I think it may go great with this soap for a little extra cooling! Thanks Jerald!:)

I have the Barber Shop bar and a sample of the Peppermint Rosemary as well. Both are fantastic, I concur.

Ok guys and I did buy the Tea Tree Face Wash from the Body Shop as well as the Seaweed Cleanser and the matching moisturizer. They have a buy 2 get 1 free or 1 50% off deal.

OK, my problem is that 66 my face is still so oily that if BP or RD Shell could figure a way I would have at least one if not more wells connected. It does have its upside though I have never had to use much in the way of after shave stuff. Wait 5 minutes and the dip stick shows full again. Any ideas for a way to kind of even out the oil levels?

It would help to know what sort of things you have already done (so we don't drive you crazy suggesting them.)

Well i guess at one time or another I've tried a lot of things: soaps that were suppose to dry out the oil; medicated ones ones that high hi or low ph; ones that added oil; using hot water to wash; using cold water, using corn starch to dry it out. Though I will admit that I do like the condition in our mid-west winters even at ) F or less I don't have to worry about chapped skin (except maybe my lips). But there really is part of me that would like not to shine like a pool of butter all the time. And I am tired of going to rest my face on my hand and having it slide off. So any and all suggests will be considered. If the photo doesn't blow out any size limits it will give you some idea of just how shiny it can get.

Just a PS I prefer not to go to my 16 year old daughter for help sorting this out!
