Too bad. She was a talented artisan. I had one of her scuttles. It was beautiful, but I am not a scuttle-guy, so I sold it long ago.
I have one that does see use during the cold Winter months. Warm lather is awesome Sent from my SM-A526U using Tapatalk

look under the "home" part of the website.. http://www.dirtybirdpottery.com/shavinggear.html This is Ken, Julie's husband. Sadly, Julie passed away on the 7th of March 2023 after fighting a very agressive brain cancer. She made pottery up until about two months before she left us. She never liked to be called an artist, but she was a super talented potter who loved her craft and most of all meeting people in her working Boothbay Harbor studio. It was her dream to have her own solo studio and she lived it very successfully for 7 years. She made nearly 30,000 pieces over the 32 years she was a potter, so her legacy will live on. I drink coffee from my Dirtybird mug every morning and smile! I dearly miss my sweet Julie Bird! Well, Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements sells a bowl-in-a-bowl scuttle and it's reasonably priced. I know it won't take the place of your broken one in your heart, but it is quite functional and comes with its own cork stopper so the warm water doesn't cool down too quickly.
