I have a fat handle tech with triangle slots. Has no date code. Says made in USA.

Any idea on when it was made? Thanks for the help.

Came in a blue and gold Gillette box and came with a two piece Gillette blade holder.

The triangular holes date it to between 1938-45. There is no way to narrow it down closer than that.

Actually I suppose you could narrow it down to 1938-41. Gillette issued this model through 1945 but none of them were made after '41 because all the metal was used for the war effort. Production resumed after '45 but the slots were rectangular from then on.

I got that one too. I think some refer to it as the Pre-War FHT. A very good shaver.
