I just bought and received the Filament from PAA and have shaved with it a couple times. The 1st time was with a wizamet iridium blade(3) and the 2nd was with a feather(1). I have several other razors from PAA which I like and get good shaves from them all. Blue fantasm monster doc slant, the eclectic blue humpback slant, the ascension doc twist, and their original doc that isn't a slant. again, very happy with these, I get good 3 pass shaves with them all. But this filament is a different story. I get irritation beyond any other razor I’ve used so far especially on my upper lip area and I use very little pressure even though its plastic and the shave result is SAS at best. I’m wondering if I maybe got a dud razor or if my technique just sucks but again absolutely no issue like this has occurred in any of my other razors, including my r41 and rr l2++oc and more. If anyone else has tried the filament, I’d be interested in your experience with it.
