I love decorated spine on straight razors.
Do you have pics of yours?
Here the ones I have ...
... and those I had !!!
Anton Wingen Jr
Oak Wing G
Henckels Friodur 472 6/8th & My French Special Monneret 6/8th..Real Heavy Whisker Whacker Blades Both of Em..
Three different Le Grelot, 2 Lotus and a Sheffield Steel.
An odd pair of Wostenholms with the most incredible file work that I’ve ever seen. The file work is almost invisible from the side. They don’t have ‘Sheffield’ or ‘England’ stamped on them, and I suspect that they were one ofs made for a fair or exhibition, never intended for sale. They’re new, never been honed.
TI hook-nose Spartacus, one of the current models
Amazing, stunning, not sure I have the right adjective for those...
cool looking razor..

No, this was a custom razor made for someone with the username Gold Dragon.
However, the maker is local to me. And makes custom kitchen knives.
Edit: pretty sure that razor cost $700 or up.
hmnn.you are a metalworker..?..with connections,assets and skills..just sayin..
Welder. Different skill set. You must be thinking of @twhite
Revisor with engraving plus gold wash
Dovo Masters with engraved spine, sorry I could not find a good picture of the spine.
Ed Brice filework and inlaid stones.
Dovo Bismark 2 fieldwork and gold
Revisor has some good ones in 6/8 section !!!
Here's a pretty one, though the filework is pretty basic, the razor has a nice shape.
It's offered by Captain Fawcett, who seems to have some rather nice packaging and collaboration deals going on. UK based company. Not sure if they have a presence in the U.S. at all. I just saw one of their shave soaps in a SOTD photo yesterday, and it sparked my interest enough to take a gander at their site.
This just in, also posted in the ‘Acquisition’ thread.
