Irena, from Gingers Garden, recently sent me a sample puck of her newest soap Vanilla and Mint.
The scent is very pleasing, light and crisp. Neither scent over powers the other they meld together nicely.

I used the Semogue to lather it. It takes a little more water to get a great lather whipped up. Once the brush ratio was worked out it good lather ability .

The soap provided for a nice slick surface for a comfortable shave. The mint has cooling effect that can be felt, not the face freeze from a mentholated soap.

The scent linger slightly afterwards it was mild not the less bit overpowering.

Conclusion the shave from this soap was comfortable. The lather was good, it seemed a little thin for my particular tastes but was acceptable. The water ratio seemed to be the key to good lathering, I might added a bit too much. Overall a nice soap.

FYI, if you're getting a cooling effect from mint, it's peppermint. Peppermint naturally contains menthol so with enough Peppermint EO, it will feel like a mentholated product.

If you like the peppermint, I'd suggest trying something with the TSD Iced Peppermint scent (I the aftershave Liquid Candy Cane Snowflakes).
