I recieved my Ikon the other day. I waited until today which is my day off so I could take my time. I got a wonderful shave and enjoyed it. This is a remarkable razor. Unlike the Gillette olds, the blade centers automatically. I like the fact that its stainless steel also because it will last forever and never brass or lose any finish. All in all I give it a 10.
Ooooooh... I might hold out for a few more reviews, but that particular attribute is practically a selling point by itself.
Yup... I have been wanting one for a while, but will need to hold off for a few months. I need to squirrel away some money in my PayPal to finance one.
That is great to hear! Which handle type did you go with? I assume the ball end since you were comparing it to the old type?
I have been using the iKon with the tech handle. Best razor in the world. I am waiting for the Bulldog which I was told is still in production but should be available any day.
Sounds like a great razor. I might have to hold off until finances catch up to my recent acquisitions. Or at least don't let the wife find out about it.
Do you have it yet? I notice in your "My Goods" section you list it, which I would take as it being "in stock" so to speak. I was just wanting to hear another newbie's views on it before I pull the trigger, if I end up doing so.
I am very excited to add an iKon to my arsenal. May be a while for production, but it will be well worth the wait.
Second Shave I think today was an even better shave than yesterday. SWMBO even said ooh BBS. I think some blades get stropped on the first shave and perform even better on the second. Anyone else noticed this?
