Thank you, everyone. I've already been having a good time here, discussing the possibilities of a new blade by Derby.

Thanks everyone for the warm welcomes. I've already been fairly active on the forums. I've been wet shaving for about 6 years. I've been around this blocka reader from the beginning. One question.... Do most people use website/browser or Tapatalk App to engage in the forums? Tapatalk is nice but I'm somewhat lost.

As a rule, I don't use dedicated apps for anything that I can do on a website. Apart from the clutter, apps have a tendency to want too much access to my phone.

I'm glad I've joined this community of fellow wet shavers. I've already started a thread and met some neat people. We're trying to figure out if the new Derby blade is a mere rebranding or an actual NEW blade with a new blade, grind technology. A few of us have contacted the company that distributes products for Derby. Not much information is out there yet. Here is a screenshot of the product. My blades from Turkey will be here in a few weeks for testing.

    Yeni in turkish means, "new"
    USTA in Turkish means, "Master"

Perhaps this blade will become known as 'Master Derbys' ???

I just received email response from Kanar (distributor) regarding the NEW Derby blade.....

"Derby usta is for the domestic Turkish market. Product quality is same." - Kanar

Oh well. We were hoping for something special. YouTube shaver, Paul, gave great praises to the blade.
