I bought a Feather Popular two weeks ago and noticed one of the doors was about 0.7 mm higher than the other after closing the both up. Did it affect the performance? I cannot say because I did not shave. Nevertheless, that imperfection bugged me to the degree I decided to fix it. The fix appeared to be pretty easy and quick. I just opened the doors up, removed the blade and twisted the frame with pliers clock-wise since the right door was higher. After a couple of trials the razor was perfect. See the pictures. Now my new TTO is ready to go.
I doubt it would have affected the performance, but as they say, "necessity is the mother of invention." Glad it was an easy fix.
