Ever since Florena appeared on the shelves of Montreal's pharmacies, it's become the leading shaving cream here, and for good reason, it's an excellent cream for a wetshaver who doesn't have, or doesn't want to spend big bucks. A "must have" for me at all times. Jeff
Areally good "no nonsense" cream. When I use this one I consistently get really close shaves. IF I had to use one cream only....I would not be disappointed.Unfortunately it is not available off the shelf in the UK. Highly recommended. Brian
Basically the only cream I really like, being a soap-person in general I find creams to be more of a hassle than a good soap, but Florena is different - lathers well, really good skincare and a very nice light flowery scent.. Chamomille I guess (that was it says on the tube ) Def a must have in my stable - even if it is a cream
Brian and Thomas, as long as I breathe, you will have Florena in your stables--this I underwrite! Jeff
Great stuff...one of my faves. Generating good lather is a no-brainer, and it shaves as well as any cream out there. A good stand-by shave cream.
I was able to get a couple of tubes thanks to a good friend. I really like the shave, lather moisturizing properties of Florena. This is going to be a regular on my list. Raf
Decent stuff and not expensive. One of the better products for the money. Unfortunately I'm not a big fan of the scent. I have some better smelling things in my cabinet that work just as well. Good product though.
I absolutely think this cream is outstanding. Too bad it's getting to be rare after being such a big seller in Canada. Armand
Well, I won a tube of this in a contest, so for me the price was PERFECT!!! But really, the cream is very good. It lathers up easily, and it is one of the most protective creams I've tried. Very smooth shaves form this cream, indeed. I think I prefer a little slicker cream, but it was nothing bad at all. The lather lasted for a good three shaves, no problem, and it offered decent skin care...maybe not as much as some of the more expensive creams or soaps, but plenty--especially in warmer weather, when the humidity starts to climb, I can see this being a good choice. If there is one thing I WOULD complain about, is the scent. I'm not sure if this is a special tube or what, but it smells like cold cream to me. I mean, JUST like cold cream. Nothing floral about it at all...is there more than one variety of this cream? **EDIT** After a few uses, I'll have to change my opinion of the scent...it IS somewhat non-cold creamy. I've noticed some distinct similarities to another great budget cream, WARS from Poland...there's still something medicinal about it to me, though.
I got this one in the TSD grab bag and finally got around to trying it out. This one did not lather as well as some of the others that I have tried and the scent was not as strong as I like. Still its a pretty good scent and kept me from carving my face up, will have to try it with my inox this week-end.
