natural casing chili dogs with a line of mustard and some minced onions on a potato bun (soft as a cloud). Coleslaw (not pictured) and some beer battered fried cauliflower with some horseradish sour cream as a condiment. Add beer and meal is complete. Great for most any sporting event!
Those look very, very good! :drool Not a fan o' cauliflower meself, but just about any fried vegetable goes better with horseradish sauce o' some kind.
I call these little guys alligator eggs. jumbo shell pasta stuffed with cream cheese and andouille sausage and then fried. Made them last week for the LSU mississippi state game. pretty awesome. while this isn't my picture, I have been known to make these armadillo eggs on occasion. jalapenos stuffed with cream cheese and engulfed in ground sausage and then baked. I also like to wrap jalapenos and cream cheese in duck breasts and cook on the pit. Pastalaya, jambalaya, boudin, and gumbo are always good for tailgating. I also make a sandwich called three pigs on a bun. Pulled pork, ham, and bacon covered in cheese. As you can tell, we love football and delicious food in louisiana.
I had armadillo eggs yesterday, made by a friend from the south.... They were delicious! Damn those look good.
