With the 100th anniversary of the start of World War 1 upon us, there has been renewed interest in the 'war to end all wars.'. Someone sent me this link, which I found quite interesting. A combination of old WWI stills with the location as seen today. A century ago seems so long ago but when overlaid into a modern image, the effect brings to 'life' the human element often lost in these old black and white images and introduces these people, all long gone, into our modern world. That is great! Thank you so much. WWI has been on my mind this week. I have been remembering my Grandfather. He was in the Army and fought in France. Got gassed. Made it back OK. George M. Cohan's "Over There" has been buzzing in my head all week.....
