For those with younger kids....

A toy WET SHAVE SET! It includes bubble bath so the kid can lather his face with the brush!! I think I'll get one for my son!

I found a set much like that from the '50s or early '60s when my wife was pregnant with the first one. When it came out not a boy, I grumpily got rid of the set. If the second one came out a boy I was going to locate another set. Nope.

Bah! I did all kinds of "boy" stuff with my kid and she still turned out a frilly girl LOL We played with cars, wrestling figures, bugs, dirt, tonka trucks, blades, fire and all those other "boy" things

 

It's not that. It's the idea of doing anything that makes me picture them older than they are. Just not ready for that. Like that wretched Butterfly Kisses song...used to make me gag and scoff before I had them, now I get misty. You know what I mean.

 

What I really want to find is one of these:
I would pay good money to get his started right: pretending to use a DE and soap!
