I see a review for Fuller's Earth Clay in the review section. I was wondering if anyone has used French Green Clay as a mask. QED has it for appx 10 for a pound. I haven't checked mountainherbs yet. Anybody have any feedback? Good/bad? Thanks!

Yep, I am a regular user of Green Clay. It works great as a whole.. really cleans out the skin and leaves a very tight feeling.

Though you should start out slow with it.. go too fast and you can really give your skin a workout.

I haven't used it for a while, but it is great stuff. You don't have to just mix it with water either, search the internet for mask recipes that will help whatever skin condition you are trying to clear up. I used fresh tomato juice and water infused with fresh sage when I was doing the mask thing.

Facial.. and you can even drink the stuff if you mix it right (I wouldn't though..haha).

You can get Green clay from a LOT of health food stores or online from places like QEDUSA. I find it cheaper to go to a local store than order it online since it saves me on over border shipping but it depends on your location.

It is cheap either way.. you never use too much.

is it a powder or like clay you pull out of the ground?

Powder. You mix it with water to get the product you put on your face.

    A powder.

Most health food stores carry it. I think I may have even seen some French Green Clay Mud Masque pre-packaged at Wal-Mart.

Just Google "Clay mask recipe", and a whole slew of links will pop up.

Yeah, health food stores seem to be cheapest. For Toronto people, found it for a good price at Noah's health food store
