This is a Gillette " Fat Handled " Tech double edge safety razor with the rare black handle, my research indicates that these were only made from 1938 to 1945. This is the much preferred one with the triangular holes in the base plate that seems to give a closer, more aggressive shave than the other Gillette Tech razors. Although this is true, you can still get a smooth feeling excellent shave from this model. This one shows the normal type of cosmetic wear that you'd expect to see from a WWII era safety razor, but it is functionally as good as ever. $15.00 The GEM Damaskeene is many single edge razor enthusiasts' favorite razor. It is the earliest of the "1912" style single edge razors and gives a close shave but one that feels smoother than other 1912 types. The razor and case show lots of cosmetic wear as you'd expect from a nearly 100 year old set, but the case still snaps shut and the razor shaves great. $19.00 Please let me know if you'd like more pictures.
