FS: AOS Sandalwood Pre-Shave Oil (Sold!)

I've got a bottle of AOS Sandalwood Pre-Shave Oil that just isn't seeing any use. As part of SWMBO's and my shared (no, really, it is shared) commitment to pare down stuff, this seems like a great candidate to find a home where it'll be used more.

Okay, this could be a stupid question... But why would I need a Pre-Shave oil? I am seeking to understand, not being a jerk. I truely do not understand the purpose of the product. But that sounds like a heck of a price.

Some guys find it helps prep their beards and really like it, and helps the razor glide across their faces.

It's very much a YMMV thing.
