Very good condition gold ball-end tech NDC. The handle has the common brassing quality that seems to occur regardless of the use of the razor. This little beauty has been used very sparingly and the head is practically perfect. I tried to show the condition of the handle by turning down the brightness a little. Except for this flaw, the razor is a great tech specimen. $19 delivered CONUS. SOLD
Doesn't look like any brassing. Do you mean the wearing off of the lacquer? As I recall, these gold Gillettes had the gold plating, and then an additional layer of lacquer applied on top. So the wear on these was slightly different than for the silver colored razors - the lacquer would first come off, resulting in different shades of gold, ranging from a lighter color to the almost orange color that usually is apparent down in the ball on the handle. The brassing is then further corrosion. This one, though, looks nice. I don't think I would call it brassing - that underestimates the condition. Nice mild shavers. I've shaved with a couple of these, and they really do a nice job.
