I am offering this very good condition 1930s cased New Bostonian. Gillette was making a number of models out of basically the same open comb razor. The New Bostonian, the 1936 Red & Black, the 1940 New Blue Gold Special were all identical, except for the cases. They are referred to as having the same "common bar handle". Although open comb razors are thought to be somewhat aggressive, I've found this New Bostonian to be relatively mild. Smooth, comfortable, refined shaver that is not brassed, no plating loss, decent case. Offered for $39 delivered CONUS and CANADA SOLD
Jake...I have a quick question. Is this razor gold or silver? From the side it looks like there is a gold hue but it looks silver when looking at the head straight on. My guess is that this is due to reflection but I am unsure.
The razor is gold plated. And our Queen is correct, the shipping is covered for all the US and Canada. Thanks for the heads up!
