As you know, the handle of the ABC set is solid, so no splits or hairline fractures on these guys. The teeth on the open comb are straight and all present. The silver's in very good shape. You can see the serial # -- makes it a 1916 manufactured set! 95-years old & counting... Case is brassed as shown. Will polish up well, but some of the silver is worn off. The bottom is in fine/excellent shape. Offered for $88 delivered in N. America. SOLD Next is a very nice British made Milady Decolletee from the early 1920s. These classy razors are delivered in the beautiful Bakelite cases -- a variety of colors were available -- this one is the jade pearl color. The razor is in very good shape, and the hollow handle does not have the common hairline crack often seen in these razors. There is a slight amount of gold plate loss -- what would you expect for a 90+ year-old gold-plated Gillette? But it is still very fine and works as good as new. A great razor set for regular use or display in its classy case. The blade case is very fine too. Too bad, but the head is just not perfect. Could be replated if you wanted perfection. I am really partial to these cases. Although made to attract the female shaver, I find them really classy. These razors were made in the US, Canada, and England. This one is a Brit. Offered for $79 delivered in N. America. SOLD Next is an excellent condition British made Gillette Rocket HD. This classic razor is considered by many to be provide the ultimate is smooth, close, comfortable shaves for a very affordable price. Of course the price has gone up a bit over the 50+ years, but it still provides one of the best values for shaving of any of the classics. I prefer this model to the also esteemed tech, so if you haven't owned &/or used one, here's your chance. The case has a very small crack, but it still closes and operates perfectly. A nice addition with this razor. Great fit & finish on this hefty nickel-plated razor. Offered for $69 delivered in N. America. SOLD Last up is a beautiful red traveler case with a #58 razor included. There is only one of the 2 Bakelite canisters included, but it's got a great little brush in it. The entire set was possibly never used, and is really unusual and rarely seen -- certainly not with this British made razor. And if you've never used the #58 razor, the TTO mechanism is unusually smooth and buttery. This is a really fine set -- hard to part with it, but here it is. 2 Bakelite blade cases. Empty for now. Great boar-bristle brush. Great finish on this razor -- nickel-plated but as shiny and sparkly as rhodium. Offered for $129 delivered in N. America. SOLD
